Carolynn Elshof grew up in a small town south of Ottawa, ON, Canada, spending much of her time outdoors where she nurtured an extensive imagination and love for the natural world. Upon graduating from the Algonquin College Animation program she took up a career in the animation industry until one day when she quietly sidestepped out of her day job to pursue her personal art. Carolynn now resides and works in North Stormont, ON, raising her young family. When she is not painting, you might find her reading a book or researching gardening. She has two dogs, several chickens, and a cat named Franklin.
